MOMENTS
“Character may be manifested in the great moments, but it is made in the small ones.”
People often believe that the grandiose moments are the most memorable. I have found, however, that it is the quiet, tender moments that I recall the most - watching my sleeping children (when they were little, obviously!), reading a good book by a crackling, warm fireplace on a cold and rainy night, sharing a chilled glass of champagne with a special friend (and daughter!), savoring aperitifs with my son-in-law, or watching a good movie with my husband. These photographs are taken from similar, quiet moments in Nature, when the light was special or the moment was simple, yet just-right. Enjoy all your moments, for they are precious - and fleeting.
